Hezbollah: 'We Stand with Iran Against US, Zionist Aggression'
According to Al-Manar, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, issued a statement declaring, “We are not neutral between Iran’s legitimate rights and the illegitimacy of the United States and its aggression, nor between the cancerous Zionist entity and other global oppressors. We stand with Iran.”
The statement further emphasized, “We affirm our position alongside Iran, its leadership, and its people, and we will act appropriately in confronting the brutal US-Zionist aggression.”
The statement comes as the Israeli regime initiated attacks against Iran last Friday, targeting military and residential areas. Iran, in response, launched Operation True Promise III, targeting key Israeli military sites across the occupied territories.

Qassem described the Islamic Republic of Iran as “a beacon of hope in the world, aiding the oppressed,” and noted that global oppressors, including the US, could not tolerate this humanitarian model and leader of the world’s free nations.
He stressed that “the tyrannical US and criminal Israel cannot force the Iranian people into submission.”
Qassem added, “Iran’s peaceful nuclear program serves peaceful purposes and the Iranian people’s interests, a right granted by international law.”
The Hezbollah leader highlighted that recent events exposed the Zionist regime’s vulnerability and deep losses, noting that for the first time in 77 years of occupation in Palestine, Israel has urgently sought US assistance to confront Iran.
